VOTING RULES & PROCESS/PROCEDURE

  • Any one can vote for a listed nominee
  • Any one can vote for a single candidate for multiple awards (in the first round only ending July 31)
  • There are 9 awards for women and 1 award for a man
  • The Ultimate WoW Award is voted on during Gala on Nov 7 from the 9 female winners
  • Only one vote per person per award (i.e., one person cannot vote for a nominee for the same award multiple times)
  • First round voting for the Top 10 in each Award Category opens Tue, June 18 @ 9:00 AM ET and closes Wed July 31 @ 11:59 PM ET
  • Once First Round of Voting is complete, the individuals with the most votes in each category will be “The Top 10” and will be published here at 12:00 PM ET on Aug 5, 2024 (90 women and 10 men)
  • Final voting opens 12:00 PM ET Aug 6, 2024 and ends at 11:59 PM ET Sept 30, 2024
  • During Final Voting anyone may vote for his/her top one candidate in each of the 10 categories.  If two or more votes are made in the same category by the same Voter, the first vote submitted will prevail.
  • The Top 10 Finalists and Award Winners will be announced at the Awards Gala on Nov 7, 2024. You must be present to win.
  • A Finalist may only appear on one Top 10 List. Each finalist will be unique.
  • If a candidate appears on more than one list in the Top 10… the highest rank prevails as the final list.  If a candidate is on two or more lists in the same rank (i.e. #3 on Mompreneur and #3 on Community Impact, the one list with the most votes will prevail.
  • If there is a tie on the number of votes in an award category, the candidate with the most votes overall will win and break the tie.  If 2+ candidates have the same number of votes in one award category AND the same number of votes overall, they will be tied and we will include more than 10 finalists.
  • The Winners of each of the 9 Women Awards will then become FINALISTS for the Ultimate Woman of Work Award
  • During the Awards Gala on Nov 7, 2024, each of the 9 winners will be brought up on stage to make her “final campaign pitch” as to why SHE should be awarded the Ultimate Woman of Work Award
  • There will be a LIVE VOTE during the event – via TEXT messaging – and the Ultimate Woman of work will be chosen out of the 9 winners of the female awards by the Full Audience in Attendance of the event.

April 1 – June 10, 2024


 

The nomination form is officially published and anyone can nominate one or more people who meet the criteria of achievement, uplifting women and is committed to diversity and inclusion.

June 17, 2024

The Top 500+ Women of Work list will be officially published. The list will be made available on our website and social media channels.

June 18 – July 31, 2024

The public will have the opportunity to vote across the 10 award categories. Each voter can vote as many times as they wish in as many categories as desired.

August 5, 2024

After the voting period closes, the votes will be tallied, and the top 10 finalists for each award category will be identified. These finalists will be announced and highlighted on our platforms.

 

August 6 – 30, 2024

The final voting round will commence, allowing the public to vote for their favorite finalists in each category. This round will determine the ultimate winners of the 10 awards.

November 7, 2024

The winners of the 2024 Top 500 Women of Work Awards will be announced at the conclusion of the VISION+WoW Conference and Gala on November 7th  at The Depot Minneapolis. We will also do a LIVE vote for the Ultimate WoW Award from the 9 Winners. All winners will be given awards plus celebrated across our social media channels and website.
